With this electric folding tow bar, you do not have to reach under the car to detach or dismantle the tow bar. With the push of a button in the luggage compartment, you fold out the tow bar. The towbar can be set in one of the locking positions with one hand movement.

For increased safety, the control knob is equipped with an indicator light that shows whether the towbar is locked. If the hitch is unlocked, a warning message appears on the vehicle's instrument cluster.

The trailer unit (TRM) provides electronic communication between car and trailer.

Using the light control function on the car's display, the trailer's lights come on sequentially, making it easier for you to check the lights.

If there should be a malfunction or problem with the trailer's turn signals or brake lights while driving, the trailer unit provides driver information immediately.

When the hitch is completely installed, the trailer stabilization feature (TSA) is activated. The trailer stabilizer's job is to stabilize the vehicle with a hitched trailer in situations where the vehicle combination has started to sway. The function is part of the stability control ESC.

The trailer stabilizer continuously monitors the movements of the car, especially sideways. If sway is detected, braking occurs on a wheel-by-wheel basis, which has a stabilizing effect on the vehicle combination. This is usually enough to ensure that the driver regains control of the car.

The tow bar is equipped with the "Fix4Bike" system. This allows the fitting of future accessories specially prepared for "Fix4Bike".
