Front Parking Assist is an excellent system that warns of obstacles when the space in front of your car is tight, such as in traffic jam parking.

The system is activated when the speed is below 15 km/h. A signal indicates the distance to the obstacle in front of the car. If an obstacle is detected, the volume of the radio/stereo is reduced and an intermittent "buzzer signal" is heard from the car's front speakers.

The signal sounds when the car is still about 80 cm from the obstacle and changes to a continuous signal when the obstacle is about 30 cm from the front bumper. To distinguish between front and rear system, different pitches are used and the sound comes from different speakers (front or rear).

The set consists of the wiring and four sensors that are concealed almost invisibly in the front bumper. The sensors are painted in the same color as the bumpers on the car.

Using the switch below, the system can be easily deactivated at the touch of a button. This is useful, as the system can sometimes emit "false" signals in response to external sound sources with the same frequency as the system's sensors. Such sources often include a horn, wet tires on the asphalt, pneumatic brakes and motorcycle exhaust pipes.
