Where
The engine coolant resevoir is found in the engine compartment.
Check the coolant level
The engine coolant resevoir has two marks on the outside marked MIN and MAX. The coolant level should be between these two marks.
If the coolant is not between these two marks, you need to top it up.
Top up
To top up the coolant:
- Make sure the engine is switched off.
- Open the engine compartment.
- Slowly screw open the lid on the coolant resvoir.
- Top up with approved coolant until the level is below the MAX mark.
- Close the lid.
- Close the engine compartment.
Note!
- Do not ingest engine coolant. It is hazardous and can cause organ damage that could result in serious injury or death.
- The coolant in the resevoir can be very hot and pressurized, which could result in serious injury. Wait for the car to cool before opening the lid to the coolant resevoir.
